

The Expert Marksmanship Badge is awarded to a Soldier who qualifies "Expert" on any of the primary weapons employed within the 101st Airborne Division Realism Unit. As we are a gaming unit, Marksman and Sharpshooter are not listed as specialty badges because of the easier nature of marksmanship in a game.
Authorized Component Bars: Rifle (M6A2), Carbine (M4A1), Pistol (M92FS), Grenade (M67), Automatic Rifle (M249 SAW), and Machine Gun (M2).
The Expert Infantryman Badge is awarded to a Soldier who successfully completes Advanced Infantry Training and qualifies as at the prescribed level for an "Expert" Qualification. Soldier must hold an 11 series PMOS.
The Combat Infantryman Badge is awarded to a Soldier who participates actively in one of the following in a combat role: Authorized Scrimmage or Match against another Realism Unit; Authorized 101st Airborne Division simulated combat operation. Soldier must hold an 11 series PMOS at the time of the simulated combat situation.
The Combat Action Badge is awarded to a Soldier in a non-Infantry PMOS who participates actively in one of the following in a combat role: Authorized Scrimmage or Match against another Realism Unit; Authorized 101st Airborne Division simulated combat operation.
The Basic Parachutist Wings are awarded to a Soldier who successfully completes and graduates from the Basic Airborne Course, thereby qualifying that Soldier to participate in Airborne Operations.
The Senior Parachutist Wings are awarded to a Soldier who has successfully proven themselves to be a competent and effective parachutist and has completed at least five training jumps or one combat jump.
Pre-Requisites: Basic Parachutist; Jumpmaster & Certified Basic Airborne Course Instructor.
The Master Parachutist Wings are awarded to a Soldier who has successfully proven themselves to be a fully proficient and experienced parachutist who has completed at least ten training jumps and two combat jumps.
Pre-Requisites: Senior Parachutist; Jumpmaster & Certified Basic Airborne Course Instructor; Instructed Basic Airborne Course at least once.
The Expert Field Medical Badge is awarded to a Soldier who has successfully proven themselves to not only being a proficient Infantryman, but have completed the Expert Field Medic Badge test and qualified at the Expert level.
The Combat Medic Badge is awarded to a Soldier who, while assigned as a medic, provided medical support to a ground combat arms unit during any period in which the unit was engaged in active ground combat.
The Air Assault Badge is awarded to a Soldier who successfully completes the Air Assault Course, thereby qualifying that Soldier to participate in Air Assault operations.
The Military Freefall Badge is awarded to a Soldier who successfully completes the Basic Military Freefall School, thereby qualifying that Soldier to participate in HALO/HAHO operations.
Pre-Requisites: Senior Parachutist; Expert Infantryman
The Pathfinder Badge is awarded to a Soldier who successfully completes the Pathfinder Course, recieving instruction in advanced land navigation, advanced scouting, tactical air traffic control in the field, and the control of parachute operations, thereby qualifying that Soldier to serve in a forward pathfinder capacity in a combat operation.
Pre-Requisites: Senior Parachutist; Air Assault; Expert Infantryman
The Basic Aviator Wings are awarded to a Soldier who successfully completes the Army Aviation School, recieving instruction in basic rotary wing aviation, flight physics and Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE), thereby qualifying that Aviator to serve as a rotary wing Aviator in support of the 101st Airborne Division.
The Sapper Tab is awarded to a Soldier who successfully completes the Sapper Leader Course, recieving instruction in facilitating movement and logistics of allied forces and impeding that of enemies, to include, but not limited to demolitions, field defenses and repair, thereby qualifying that Soldier to serve in a Sapper/Engineer capacity in a combat operation.
Pre-Requisites: Expert Infantryman
The Ranger Tab is awarded to a Soldier who successfully completes and graduates from the Pathfinder Course, recieving instruction in small-unit infantry combat tactics in woodland, mountain, and swamp operations. The Ranger Tab is an unspoken requirement for Senior NCOs and Officers serving in a Combat Army unit.
Pre-Requisites: Basic Parachutist; Expert Infantryman
The Ranger Tab is awarded to a Soldier who successfully completes and graduates from the Special Forces Qualification Course or the Special Forces Detachment Officer Qualification Course, recieving instruction in small-unit infantry combat tactics, Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE), unconventional warfare and basic language skills. The Special Forces Qualification Course is only available if a Special Forces component unit is available for entry.
