News - 101st Airborne Division

A Joint Operation has been scheduled to March 3rd 2012, The 101st Airborne Division, 1st Armored Division and 11th Special Forces Group. We welcome our allied brothers and will continue to work with our allies to better ourselves and their units as well.

Due to some delays the operation has been rescheduled for March 11th 2012

After many weeks of relentless work, the 101st Airborne Division releases its updated and revised website.

Some of the new features include:

- Headquarters Office

- Department Offices

- Updated MILPACS

- Improved Forums functionality and interface

- Improved homepage

Our website was vastly unchanged since its redesign in 2010, but we think these small changes will make us that much better. We take the moment to explain our news functions and uses for our website.

Our main menu bar has had some links switched from schedules to Headquarters, this is becuase our schedule was not maintained or found to be that useful. Thus we decided to make it easier for you as the user to find our Staff department pages

The splash page as been redesigned to add more information about our S-1 Administration Office, S-3 Operations Office, S-6 Communications Office, as well as some new features. These features include Speak with a Recruiter which I will explain more shortly and links to the 101st Airborne Division Youtube Channel, and Facebook Channel. Also added were a direct link to the 101st Teamspeak and Xfire Group.

Speak with a recuiter has been added, this allows public users to click and speak with one of our recruiters aviable at the moment and ask any questions he has about our proud unit. Also this tool allows us to directly contact people who are looking over our homepage and speak with them about joining us in the brotherhood.

With the addition to Department Offices it makes seeing what our staff departments do and who they work that much easier, you may also find very important information about derpartments such as Recent Promotions in our S-1 Administartion Office, or Our How to Page in S-6 Communications Office. We hope to better our site as well as provide easy content for users to view and like to use.

Finally, the MILPACS is being updated, every placed 101st Airborne Division Member will receive a new dress uniform on the roster as well as his service jacket. This will provide a beautiful new system of a mirror of our old MILPACS found on our old site but one that looks both proffesional and shows our dedication to making it look perfect.
